Talk faith. Not fear.

I’ve wanted to post a new blog for some time now but I didn’t know what to write on.

The past few months have given me so many experiences that I finally knew what I wanted to share.

“You attract what you fear” is a saying we dread hearing. No one likes their fears. No one wants to talk about it. No one wants their fears to come true.

Let me give you an example - if you fear failing an exam, you probably will because you’re just studying with an intention to not fail which would most probably lead to you failing or borderline passing the exam. It is the same with every aspect in your life. Honestly, the only thing that should be feared is fear itself otherwise it’s going to keep you from moving forward. And it will keep you from evolving to your full potential.

Talk faith instead of fear, because you attract what you focus on.

Being positive is hard but you got to keep claiming things you want and hope for. Manifest your hopes and visions.

More importantly, you have to remind yourself every second about the God you worship. He’s way bigger than your fears; He’s way bigger than your Goliath.

Recently, I have had very personal experiences on ‘you attract what you fear’. It did steal me of my happiness and peace for a bit. Thankfully, I had supportive people around and I have a God who’s greater than all my fears.

The devil comes to steal. He plants a little seed of doubt which if given the power can cause you to overthink and turn it into fear. Many a times it’s a choice of giving overthinking (fear) the power to ruin a good thing. Overthinking is the beginning of creating fear and anxiety. ‘What if he or she leaves? What if I fail? What if I never see them again? What if this relationship fails?’ All these negative what ifs get you thinking things that are most probably not true… But then you attract them because you do things or say things with an intention to not let the fear become reality, instead of doing intentional things that aim at your hopes and what you want, and attract the faith into your reality. Convert the negatives into ‘what if it really works out exactly how I want it’.

More often, we’re so focused on not letting our fears come true, that we forget to focus on our hopes and dreams, and what we truly want. I hope you understand what I’m stating here.

I’m not going to lie; I am still struggling with the pandemic anxiety and a lot of other hopeless situations. I lost so many loved ones and I am heartbroken. Every day is a struggle but I’m choosing to be happy and still trying to manifest my hopes, even though it is hard to do that with all that has happened around me and to me. I’m still trying to talk faith, and not think about my fears.

I believe one can only overcome their fears by focusing on their faith, their hopes, and what they want to manifest. But THE BEST thing one can do is to LET GO of their fears and to LET GOD turn their faith into reality.
